I love watching these two interact with one another. No one can get Bliss to laugh like Dallas can and if Bliss is crying in her car seat all I have to do is ask Dallas to make her happy and she can immediately. I constantly catch them holding hands and Dallas sneaking in kisses and tight hugs around the neck sometimes a little too tight but they are never intentional just full of love, the intentional ones are usually stiff arms to the face.
The other day Dallas handed me my phone and asked me to put Bliss in her lap so I could take a picture of them. Melt my heart.
Bliss loves to: walk while holding things, chase her sister, play outside, go on buggy rides, be held by momma or granna, CLIMB, give kisses, pretend to be a big girl. She is constantly on the go and only takes breaks when she needs a snuggle.
Things have been a little bit hectic with birthdays, holidays, moving, renovating and living in a temporary condo. We have been trying to keep ourselves busy and out of the condo so we don't all lose our minds and cause our neighbors to do the same! Here is a photo recap of the last month and a half...
We bought a home...
We sold our home...
Pulled an all nighter getting it completely ready for its new owner
Got home just in time to wake up the girls and Granna and take them to school
Started the renovation
And that was just Day 1
Did some shopping since mom packed all our winter clothes by accident
Went trick or treating
Went to Uncle Ryan's football game (he is recovering from a torn ACL)
Played at Granna & Poppy's
Turned 31 (no picture from the night so here's a substitute)
Turned Two (bigger post on that later)
Went to Chuck Cheese, where a kid can be a kid
Went out with friends
And that pretty much gets us caught up. Hopefully next week I will be posting that we are all moved into our new home and doing a whole lot of nothing.
A few weeks back we went with our good friends and their twin nephews to a pumpkin patch a little outside of town. Traveling in the car for more than 10 minutes is always a risky bet but luckily the girls did great and we avoided all screaming and crying. Somehow we managed to take zero pictures with actual pumpkins but you may be able to see some in the background, ha.
Nothing screams I'm a dad like an American flag genuine leather fanny pack
Long day for this little fella
Loving the boat ride
Bliss hanging with dad
Shoulder rides are the best
They found love in a pumpkin patch
First date. He took her on a helicopter ride, baller.
He always made sure to smile for the camera when he came by... adorable
Bliss & Daddy
Still holding hands
Uncle Ryan showing him how its done
Bliss and dad partying in the background
The race is on!
Excited for the train ride
A Bliss photo shoot while the kids road the train
Dads got on an eye on you...
Pumpkin launching. Easily the kids (and guys) favorite part of the trip.
They couldn't pull the sling so they pulled Kyle back to help him launch it. Everyone pull!!!
