DadAss Day

Kyle is off having a "DadAss" day... a phrase he coined for days he gets to spend with Dallas all alone.  My mom is off on her Sisters on the Fly roadtrip to Santa Fe so Kyle and I are splitting days off to watch our little pumpkin.  I can only imagine the fun they have already had today.

These pictures aren't from today (they are from the weekend) but they give you the idea of what happens when Dad and Dallas (DadAss) are playing.
She's fearless like her dad.  Already walking and trying to climb up the slide on her own. Man I love this girl! (dad's hand is there to catch her in case she falls)

Sisters

Tuesday we found out that Dallas will be getting a little sister. What a great gift! I have been daydreaming since then about all of the adventures they will have together. Of them holding each other’s hands and pulling each other’s hair when someone borrows something without asking. Of them staying up late at night exchanging secrets and funny stories. Of tears, slamming doors and uncontrollable wet your pants laughter.  I feel so very blessed to be having another daughter and all of the beautiful chaos that will come with it.

Birthdays!

It's a year of milestone birthdays in the family and The Gibbs Twins (my mom and aunt) and cousin Jeffy were the first to kick them off!
