Sunday Brunch and Photo Op

Last Sunday we celebrated (very late) my momma's birthday. It was a great brunch followed by a surprise photo shoot of the girls!

Next to La Duni at Northpark there is a photographer every Sunday who will take as many pictures as you like and then you get to go through and pick out your favorites. He charges $10 a photo and said he will be running an all you can buy buffet special this month.

22 Months!

She loves... asking whasss thees?, reading books, naming animals, making the animal noises, pouring her own water, her binkies, cheering for you when you go to the potty, cheering for herself when she goes to the potty, laughing when she toots, pulling pranks, imitating Bliss when she cries and then cracking up, trucks, school buses, saying ewwww, covering herself in handsoap, coloring on anything and everything including herself and walls, putting makeup on her sister when mom isn't looking, putting makeup on herself when mom isn't looking, telling the floor or wall or whatever she fell on or bumped into "isssss baadddd", giving you tons of kisses when she wakes up, bubble gum bubbles, anything that is alive and moves, playing at the park, trying to carry her sister, climbing, putting on costumes (shocker).

 She finally learned how to kiss with her mouth closed!

Last Day of School

Last week the girls had their last day of class before the new "school year" began and they moved into new classes, with new kids and new teachers. For Bliss it was easy and she is loving it. For Dallas she is still getting used to being without her Ms. Nicole and old friends. Luckily her other teacher Ms. Jasmine moved up with her so I imagine by the end of the week she will be adjusted.

30 Years Ago...

The love of my life was born.

He has accomplished more in his 30 years of life than I probably will in my entire life!  Here's a short list

Law & Masters degree at the same time

Bike ride from El Paso to Canada (yes on a bicycle)

Save a life by donating a kidney

Ran the New York Marathon

Helped make two of the most beautiful baby girls in the world

Remodeled a house from top to bottom with his own two hands

Started a business

Sold a business

Started another business

Was written up in the high school and local newspaper for his pantsing skills

Was banned from Zogsports Dodgeball for his pantsing skills

A pretty impressive list if you ask me.  We are so lucky to have this guy in our lives. We love you!!!

6 Months!

It's hard to believe that my baby girl Bliss is already 6 months old. She continues to be an extremely happy baby and always has a smile on her face. She is sitting up completely unassisted, getting on all fours just about to crawl, eating solids, babbling up a storm, and holding her own bottle. She loves to be tickled, kissed on, playing peekaboo, watching Tangled, pulling your hair, splashing herself in the bath, putting any and everything in her mouth to chew on, and rolling to get where she needs to be.

21 Months

Still on the go, still as animated as ever. She loves... putting words together, kissing and hugging Bliss, feeding the dogs all by herself, saying "I tee tee too", mimicking, playing with puzzles, animals, Tangled & Rio, giving momma and daddy hugs and kisses, saying "hiiiiiiii", dancing, birds, her Poppy, wearing hats, hiding and jumping out to scare you, back rubs, any kind of berries. 

 

Wiggles

Dallas is a huge fan of the Wiggles so we couldn't pass up the chance to go see them in concert. She had the time of her life!
